English as a Second Language (ESL) classes were started at Deermeadows Baptist Church in September 1986. Students, like you, representing 51 different countries have been a part of these classes. All teachers and directors in this program are Christians.  They are unpaid workers. They do this because of God’s love for all people. We believe God wants us to help you learn to speak English and learn about American culture so that your experience in the United States will be easier and more enjoyable. We consider it a privilege to be your friend.
